1. The service
BunkerNests is a rental marketplace that connects tenants and landlords in Nigeria. We provide listing verification, screening tools, digital lease drafting and escrow-style payment protection. BunkerNests is not a party to any tenancy agreement formed between users, and listings are provided by landlords — verification badges reflect checks performed at a point in time, not a continuing guarantee.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that provide false information, post fraudulent listings, or misuse the platform.
3. Listings and verification
Landlords warrant that they are entitled to let the properties they list and that listing details and media are accurate and their own. Listings pass automated fraud checks and human review before publication; we may reject or remove listings at our discretion.
4. Payments and escrow
Rent paid through BunkerNests is held in escrow and released to the landlord after the tenant confirms move-in. During the MVP period escrow is provided on a best-effort basis while payment-provider integrations are completed; do not send money to other users outside the platform.
5. Trust scores and AI features
Trust scores, screening summaries, recommendations and lease drafts are generated automatically from information users provide. They are decision aids, not advice, and must not be the sole basis for accepting or rejecting a tenant. Lease drafts should be reviewed — and where appropriate, checked by a lawyer — before signing.
6. Prohibited conduct
No fraudulent, duplicate or misleading listings; no harassment or discrimination; no attempts to move transactions off-platform to avoid protections; no scraping or interfering with the service.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BunkerNests is provided “as is” and we are not liable for losses arising from tenancy disputes, listing inaccuracies, or user conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
